Hensikt og omfang
Hår skal ikke fjernes på operasjonsfeltet hvis det ikke er nødvendig; kun hvis det er til hinder for inngrepet eller hindrer feste av dekkemateriale/bandasje (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
  • Hvis hårfjerning er nødvendig, skal det gjøres operasjonsdagen, og så nær operasjonstidspunktet som mulig (3, 4 ,5 ,6 ,7 ,8).
  • Hårfjerning utføres på et sted utenfor operasjons- eller prosedyrerom (1, 3, 6, 9).
  • Hvis hårfjerning er nødvendig, bruk elektrisk klipper, ikke barberhøvel da den kan forårsake små kutt og snitt i huden, hvorav mange kan være mikroskopiske (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10).
Fremgangsmåte
  • Det området der hårfjerning er nødvendig må være klart definert.
  • Engangs klipperhode kastes etter bruk.
  • Maskinen tørkes av med 70 - 75 % av desinfeksjonssprit mellom hver pasient. Hvis rengjøring før desinfeksjon er nødvendig, se maskinens bruksanvisning.
